this is a writing
this concept of perfection can never really be perfected.
we learn to understand what is deemed perfect:
the perfect house.
the perfect car.
the perfect body.
the perfect look.
the perfect figure.
the perfect husband.
the perfect wife.
the perfect life.
we are told to consume this idea of perfection. tempted to taste it and take a piece and part of it for ourselves - in exchange of some parts of ourselvse in return: be it money, be it our dignity, be it our principles.
we flip through magazines, seek the counsel of the those who know -or think they know.
about how and what perfection should be.
let me entertain you with the notion that their concept of perfection is a constant influx of change and adaptation. once the dissonance between what you believe is perfect to what you think is perfect occurs, you are left confused, dumbfounded and possibly even shaken in your own self-consciousness.
today, i am glad to know that there are a few things which may never be perfect, but will be perfect at the same time: a paradox.
i'm creating my own perfections & disallowing culture and society to dictate me.
God is perfect in an inperfect world.
You're perfect even with your flaws and complete in your beauty. may it be in flesh and spirit.
the body will degenerate; let it degenrate in grace and perfection.
have a good day.
