i am void.
because you cannot see me, yet i am there - because you know me.
the idea of me besieges you; like an army outside temple gates.

i am shadow.
because i'm behind you. as you turn, i will always be following you.
i may be on the ground and you may trample all over me, but i feel no hurt.

i am a spirit.
external in nature, but internal in truth. i am omnipresent and powerful.
i do not fly. i am there, here. because that is how i am.

i am distracted.
because facebook is right in front of me. and i enjoy writing more than anything.
i am escape. i am here. i am dictated by my own eyes.
